I assume you mean hp #74 and #75. The answer is no. The cartridges have a different body style, different electrical contacts, and different printheads. If you do get it to fit, you might not get it out.
Stick with the 21/22 or look it up on HP to see if it will take a higher capacity 27 or 56 black.Printer Ink Question!!!?
Well if they fit in there you can see if they work but you can't be sure if they work correctly until you try. They give you the number to show which one to use but others may or may not work. Right now I am using a 21 in place of a 27 without any problems.
