i replaced my ink with compatables and now they are coming up as empty but only printed 2 things n they were both black . this is driving me mad . please help Epson dx7400 printer ink gone mad?

Epson catridges are chipped and the chip tells you how much ink is left. Most compatible cartridges are not chipped so the printer tells you it's empty.
