How do i get my ink cartriage out of my epson styles printer to change the cartraige?

i just need to change my ink and i car't get the cartridge outHow do i get my ink cartriage out of my epson styles printer to change the cartraige?
Epson by design are not greatly setup to just 'change' ink cartridges. Their setup is to ONLY change the cartridge when it is out of ink. To change it earlier (or like some HP's you could take the cartridge out, shake it, reinstall it) could cause air to be introduced into the lines and your printer will take many hours and lots of ink later to purge the air out of the system.

To answer your question though, you would have to power off your printer, then power it back on. While the pinter is doing it's 'self test' wait for the cartridge to be moved away from it's 'resting' spot. When it is near the middle - unplug (not just power off) the printer. This will leave the cartridge available for you to remove and replace the ink.

Again, the Epson is not designed for this hence why it is such a pain to do.

Otherwise, depending on the model, some Epsons had a button on the control panel to 'change ink cartridge' and it would place the carrier to where you could access the ink (this wasn't very popular for Epson). How do i get my ink cartriage out of my epson styles printer to change the cartraige?
