I have a dell printer and the ink is ridiculously expensive,is there any alternative? How come nobody has?

come up with a way for us to refill our cartridges?Someone said walgreens will refill them, does this include dell?ThanksI have a dell printer and the ink is ridiculously expensive,is there any alternative? How come nobody has?
Try Staples, Office Max, or Office Depot. I get refill kits for my old Canon 200e printer cartridges there. Not all can be refilled. Some printers (some Epson models, I think) have a small chip in the cartridge which knows when its empty and refilling with ink won't reset the chip, so the cartridge won't release any ink, even though it's full. They claim it's because they can't guarantee the quality of aftermarket ink, but of course it's really to sell more cartridges. I have another Canon, an iP4000 Pixma, and I haven't figured out how to refill its cartridges. Kodak recently began selling a printer that they claim is much more thrifty with ink and for which the ink is a lot cheaper.I have a dell printer and the ink is ridiculously expensive,is there any alternative? How come nobody has?
there is a way to refill cartridges and some companies sell compatible ink cartridges at nearly half the price. The ink may work okay but sometimes it can degrade your ink jets.

search around the web and you'll find all sorts of resources.
