If printing pics with reg. printer ink & reg. printer paper how soon will the pic fade?

Would it be THAT much better to use Picture ink %26amp; reg. picture paper? If printing pics with reg. printer ink %26amp; reg. printer paper how soon will the pic fade?
I have found it better to get good photo paper instead of the photo inkIf printing pics with reg. printer ink %26amp; reg. printer paper how soon will the pic fade?
There's a good chance using regular paper will begin to fade well into the first year. Mostly because standard paper soaks in ink already making the photo look a little faded. Depending on the printer and paper, specific companies such as HP, Canon, Epson specially formulate a certain type of solution on their own paper and ink products, so HP advertises about 30 years before fading, Epson advertises up to 75 years in some cases. Hope that helps, Have a great day!
