I have some experience with this. As someone else stated, I used to always buy a new printer when I ran out of ink. Then once I bought a refill kit , which totally ruined my printer and I still had to buy a new one. But I have now learned that it is better to buy new cartridges. The ones that come with the printer are usually half size as the replacement cartridges. Also if you have a really nice printer that costs more money you don't want to be buying new printers and you certainly don't want to risk destroying it with a sub-par refill kit.

dont use the refills, most of the time they do not work. also if you use a refilled cartridge on a nice printer, it usually voids the warranty.
