I am looking for a printer/scanner/copier that just has black ink, so I don't have to buy colored ink. Do you know of one? I like HP, but anyone is good.
Thanks,
DanIs there a scanner, copier, printer with just black ink on the market?
There are lots of options. If you like HP, check out http://www.shopping.hp.com/webapp/shoppi鈥?/a>
Canon is a good brand for this also. See http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/contro鈥?/a>
You're more than likely be dealing with laser instead of inkjet technology when going B%26amp;W so don't forget to consider the cost of supplies.
Also, remember that many color printers can print in just plain black. They typically have different refills for different colors and reputable makes let you replace each independently. Some models will require the color ink to be present even if you configure for black printing only but most do not. For example, I have a Canon inkjet whose black ink cartridge is twice the size of the color ones and prints just fine in black even when the color cartridges are empty. Is there a scanner, copier, printer with just black ink on the market?
most printers have colour as well. just print only in black so you do not use the colour and then you do not have to buy it
HP will copy in black and white if you leave the color cartridge empty.
most people want color copies....try a trip into a store like staples
