Printer ink refilling store - viable?

Could have the opportunity to start an ink refilling business, but I remember talk of cartridges being fitted with chips to prevent this - is this true? If so, is there a legal workaround?

Thanks.Printer ink refilling store - viable?
We have an ink refill store in my area, but the local pharmacies do it as well. They must use a chip re-setter. The cost is about 1/2. I have found generic to be much cheaper, so it's not worth my time to refill anymore.Printer ink refilling store - viable?
Older cartridges are usually unchipped and can be refilled easily

Modern cartridges have chip counters which try to prevent casual users refilling.

There are chip resetters available which will allow you to refill or on some printers you can override the chip warning and refill anyway. You would have to do your research here.

As far as I am aware it is not illegal to reset a chip, but it may invalidate the printers warranty
