Try the HP Photosmart series. I'm using the HP Photosmart C5180 All-in-One, and it's great. The ink's fairly priced, like HKD 480? for the 6 cartridges.

yes i have an epson also ----- BUT the more u ptint the faster u use the ink and black is not cheap ---unless u trust to get it refilled ---i dnot coz they tend to leak after the 3rd refill

Sorry to say, but there really isn't such a thing. Cheaper the printer is for you to buy, more $$ to own.





Here are some things to look for.





HP, look for a printer that takes the 74/75 set, 96/97 set, HP 02 set, or the HP 88 set. Those are the most economical cartridges HP makes in terms of page yields and cost.





Also look at the Canon PGI-5 Black, and CLI-8 colors. Individual cartridges for each color. Look at the Canon Pixma MP610 is a good one.
By all means stay away from Epson!! I have an Epson R260 and it is an ink machine. I am constantly having to buy ink weekly. If you run out of one color then the whole printer stops until you buy a replacement. I have bought the printer several times over just in ink. So, I am in the same boat you are looking for a printer that does not go through expensive ink. Good luck!
