I want a printer that gives best value for money ink wise?

I plan to do a lot of printing so want the best value for money some manufacturers sell cheap printers but the ink is expensive any advise pleaseI want a printer that gives best value for money ink wise?
What type/kind of printing are you planning to do?

If it is just text or black %26amp; white printing, you'd be much better off with a relatively low priced laser printer instead of an inkjet type printer. A laser will be more trouble free and cheaper in the long run.

If you plan on some color from time to time, then an inkjet would do ok, but if you don't print color too often your inkjet will tend to clog up and you'll use up ink to clean them to get them working again and you will spend more on the ink cartridges.

If you plan on a lot of color printing, then you should go with a color laser printer. There are some good ones now that aren't too expensive anymore. Again for the reliability and overall lower cost of supplies.

If you go with an inkjet, go to your local office/printer supply stores and talk with sales people and check the prices of the ink cartridges they have and which printers they go to to get an idea of which printers take the lower cost ink, but there are a lot of variables that make it hard to tell for sure (size of cartridges, how much ink is in them, individual color cartridges vs multiple colors in one cartridge, etc..)

Best of luck.I want a printer that gives best value for money ink wise?
Hi,

I'm in the printer cartridge business and I'd recommend that you have a look at Epson printers. The Epson range of printers have built in print heads, therefore you're not changing the head each time you buy a new cartridge, you're simply replacing the ink tank. Also there are many generic Epson cartridges on the market at excelent prices. I'd recommend looking for the QInk brand of generic, these have proved to be very good and we've sold hundreds of them over the years. Also the manufacturer cannot, by law, void your printer warranty if you use a generic cartridge.
Remember cheap printers dear ink expensive printers cheap ink
