What is the avarage cost per page printing with an ink jet printer?

Ah, the eternal question. This one has come up many times in the press and there isn't a specific answer.

The reason is all manufacturers cost their cartridges and printers differently and each produces a different quantity of prints per cartridge. The other main point is print quality, the higher the quality the less you get out of a cartridge. Finally some printers have 4 separate cartridges some have a combined colour, so one colour runs out you need to replace the complete cartridge.

You need to added the initial cost of the printer decide on what sort of quality you will print and how many you get per cartridge (manufacturers web sites are always a little over on this) and you will be somewhere near.

Not much help I know but the good news is colour laser printers are dropping in price and they are mush cheaper to run than inkjets.

As a VERY rough guide Colour Laser 8-10p per colour sheet, Inkjets about twice that but set to photo quality it will be higher. What is the avarage cost per page printing with an ink jet printer?
it depends on the printer and the ink, and where you buy the ink. you can save a lot on ink if you follow the tips in this article:
